When we have to start over … go back to the beginning, we often think of it as a bad thing. But John’s reference to the beginning … “In the beginning, was the The Word” is irrelevant of time. It describes God (and the Word – Jesus) as the source … the origin of all that is. When we have to “go back to the beginning” may we see it as a positive thing as we see and include God … who created us … and is the source of all that we are and will ever be.

The Word
When we have to start over … go back to the beginning, we often think of it as a bad thing. But John’s reference to the beginning … “In the beginning, was the The Word” is irrelevant of time. It describes God (and the Word – Jesus) as the source … the origin of all that is.
