Paul is passionate about the salvation of both Jews and Gentiles.  And makes it clear that the key – for both – is a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Being born a descendant of Abraham has no bearing on eternity.  Being a spiritual descendant, by faith in Jesus (relationship), assures the righteousness before God that Jews were seeking, and Gentiles were given through adoption.
